PRINCIPAL DUTIES |
- Follows established company procedures to inspect and document incoming loads of concrete and asphalt cold planed material for hazardous materials. Inspections may include screening-level testing of incoming materials. Focus attention on preventing hazardous materials from entering the Quarry (I.E.- asbestos/transite pipe, lead paint, etc.)
- Must have legible penmanship for documentation of truck number, company, job location, & material type for each load (incoming material logs).
- Removes debris/trash alongside Quarry roads.
- Compiles extracted debris in designated areas and keeps Manager informed of stockpile volumes so arrangements can be made for proper removal.
- Accepts/Rejects incoming loads of concrete and asphalt cold planed material and communicates with Dispatcher and/or Manager to charge appropriate tipping fees.
- Directs incoming loads to proper holding areas. Alert manager to problem loads.
- Informs Manager of full recycle bins that need to be replaced. Empty replacement bins need to be inspected for damage, before they are put into service.
- Performs miscellaneous duties such as trash removal, freight loading/unloading, and general housekeeping as requested.
- May assist with installation of property signage.
- May be assigned to tasks in the Recycle area, including operation of heavy equipment (I.E.- forklift, skidsteer, hoptoe,etc.).
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Performs other various duties, as requested by management.

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS |
- High school diploma.
- Mine Safety and Health Association (MSHA) Certificate of Training preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license and favorable traffic abstract.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours (starting times/shift).
