PRINCIPAL DUTIES
  1. Reviews contract documents and specification requirements. Prepares and updates project schedules. Maintains database of active project issues. Ensures good faith effort for minority participation goals. Prepares and submits proposals for change orders. Prepares project schedules for prime projects to analyze any future issues such as resource constraints, schedule impact, etc.
  2. Attends all planning meetings and any project coordination meetings. Develops submittals and coordinates reviews and approvals. Ensures testing is performed and provides documentation as required by the contract.
  3. Meets with production staff to review project requirements including personnel, resources, equipment assignments, schedules, quality goals and productivity. Responsible for helping to maintain the profitability of all assigned projects.
  4. Reviews and responds in a timely fashion to correspondence from prime contractors, agencies, owners, and design team.
  5. Assists with project billing and collections.
  6. Performs other duties assigned.
  7. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
  8. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. College degree preferred, or relevant industry experience.
  2. 5 years relevant experience in related industry
  3. PCI and ACI certification. PCI erector/auditor
  4. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email; aptitude to learn in-house systems; proficiency with AutoCAD highly desirable; keyboarding skills sufficient to complete daily tasks in a timely manner.
  5. Excellent math aptitude.
  6. Ability to read and comprehend job specifications, blueprints, and technical information.
  7. Valid Hawaii driver’s license and favorable traffic abstract.
  8. Ability to work independently and ensure completion of job in a timely manner.
  9. Excellent organizational, communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
  10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
