POSITION TITLE: Laborer - Foreman

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
  1. Perform tasks involving physical labor and heavy construction sites.
  2. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety policies and procedures using appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
  3. Operate hand and power tools of all types, including welding machines, torches and large metal chop saws.
  4. Build and position wood and steel forms; caulk and oil in preparation for pouring concrete.
  5. Operate heavy equipment including tractors and forklifts.
  6. Operate basic woodworking equipment.
  7. Job specifications should include all necessary qualifications to perform the full job at an acceptable level.
  8. Pick up after self and others to maintain clean work environment.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. Arrive on time, ready/able to work, stay until shift/work is complete.
  2. Able to work flexible hours/travel to neighbor island / perform work at all shift times.
  3. Communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers at all levels
  4. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly. Able to sit/stand/walk, bend, squat, crouch, reach over shoulder, climb, balance, push and pull frequently and//or for long periods of time. Ability to climb up to 15 feet and maintain balance.
  5. Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  6. Ability to utilize hearing protection and maintain required communication.
  7. Ability to read and comprehend material use instructions as well as basic work-related documents.
  8. Ability to work as a team member.
  9. Must be at least 21 years of age.
