PRINCIPAL DUTIES
  1. Builds forms for the production of standard and custom pre-cast concrete products using a variety of air and electric power tools as well as other small hand tools.
  2. May work with wood, rubber, fiberglass or other material or in combination with other material to build side rails and bulkheads for forms specified in production drawings.
  3. Monitors production activity to ensure safety among co-workers in the department.
  4. Assists in activity required for off-island projects, as needed.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned.
  6. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and safety policies.
  7. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation when interacting with all people in the workplace.
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 3 years of proven carpentry skills and ability to conceptualize woodworking process to achieve expected outcomes.
  3. Good mathematical skills to measure/calculate angles/calibrate specifications required for daily tasks.
  4. Ability to comprehend and effectively execute production drawings; ability to read and comprehend basic work-related documents.
  5. Certified in-house for department-specific equipment.
  6. Certifications required for CPR and forklift.
  7. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  8. Proven leadership ability in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers at all levels.
  10. Work flexible hours/travel to N.I./on-call/nights
  11. Able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
