  1. Manages the full life cycle recruitment process across a wide range of skill sets for both bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit staffing needs and for all lines of multi-unit business operations. This includes:
    • Works directly with Hiring Managers to gather recruitment/fulfillment needs, assessment/recruitment, scheduling and conducting of interviews and assisting in hiring decisions.
    • Facilitates the requisition process, including creation, posting, maintenance and hiring decisions.
    • Opening and closing jobs, generating correspondence, preparing offer letters, recording of candidate interviews, screenings and related notes, as well as the proper disposition of all applicants.
    • Sourcing of applicants via various SEO, job boards, union hiring venues, government agencies and others to find qualified candidates.
    • Identifies the most efficient and cost-effective recruiting methods.
    • Generates weekly updates for company leadership and provides recruitment and staffing metrics and benchmarks.
    • Complies with all government and Company requirements and applicable regulations.
    • Manages respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current and future opportunities.
    • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies.
  2. Manages the employment and on-boarding processes for all new hires to include the processing of all required forms and documents, new hire orientation and training, HRIS data entry and benefits eligibility and enrollment.
  3. Assists with Benefits Administration to include Leave Management - WC, TDI, FMLA, Personal Leaves of Absence, and other. Assists with compliance and internal audits, Total Wellness initiatives and annual Open Enrollment.
  4. Assists with the development, updating, interpretation and application of and compliance with company policies, procedures and guidelines as defined in policy manuals, employee handbook, and all collective bargaining agreements.
  5. Assists with labor relations matters including advising, coaching, counseling, investigations, discipline, documentation and reporting.
  6. Assists with Performance Management processes to include training and development, goal setting and measurements, and the performance feedback and accountability process.
  7. Assists with employee relations initiatives to include communication, engagement, inclusion, diversity, rewards and recognition to further identify and solidify our Company culture.
  8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related major is preferred.
  2. 5+ years in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience required.
  3. Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email; aptitude to learn in-house systems; keyboarding skills to complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations.
  5. Ability to read and interpret legal documents, government regulations.
  6. Ability to produce organized, clear, grammatically correct written communications.
  7. Valid Hawaii driver’s license and favorable traffic abstract.
  8. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  9. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  10. Must be able to travel between work locations on Oahu and inter island as needed.
