PRINCIPAL DUTIES
  1. Performs tasks related to building forming beds, casting products, caging, and tying re-bar for the production of pre-cast concrete products.
  2. Assists supervisor by overseeing leadmen and/or forming beds assigned to others within the production area while maintaining own productivity.
  3. Works with structural as well as architectural products where attention to detail is held to a higher standard for final appearance.
  4. Monitors production activity to ensure safety among co-workers in the department.
  5. Assists in activity required for off-island projects, as needed.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  2. 5 years proven experience in the production of high quality concrete structural and architectural products
  3. Ability to comprehend and effectively execute production drawings; ability to read and comprehend basic work-related documents.
  4. Good mathematical skills to measure/calculate/calibrate measurement specifications for production work.
  5. Ability to determine and safely apply appropriate tension to pre-stressing cables; Certified in-house on stressing strand.
  6. Certifications required for CPR, forklift.
  7. Proven leadership ability in a fast paced environment.
  8. Communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers at all levels.
  9. Work flexible hours/travel to neighbor islands/on-call/nights
  10. Able to lift 50 pounds regularly; able to access heights via ladder.
