POSITION TITLE: Fencing Coordinator

  1. Works closely with Fencing Foreman and Manager to establish priorities and check availability of equipment.
  2. Coordinates with the Fleet Maintenance Department to ensure trucks & equipment are available as needed in scheduling maintenance repairs.
  3. Notifies Fleet Maintenance Department of any equipment breakdowns and trouble calls.
  4. Based on projected work-loads and manpower requirements, coordinate with Fencing Foreman(s) to effectively schedule crews on a weekly basis. Scheduling to include changing existing manpower shifts.
  5. Based on immediate work-load, create a daily schedule and assign jobs as necessary. Coordinate job types and/or requirements with various skill sets to crew members. Rotate jobs for an even distribution of job types to qualified crewmembers.
  6. Reviews quotes, service agreements, purchase and work orders to ensure that equipment and manpower are allocated properly to fulfill service requests as budgeted or quoted.
  7. Reviews job orders against work logs for payroll processing and compiles appropriate paperwork for timely submission to Fencing Manager for final verification and approval.
  8. Gather customer complaints, investigate issues and refer information on difficult customers to the Fencing Manager for follow-up.
  9. Ensure rental services are rendered as ordered or rescheduled as necessary, that crew drivers thoroughly complete rental orders after jobs are completed. Responsible in turning in all order forms to the Manager for review, in a timely manner for immediate invoicing.
  10. Using completed rental order forms, calculating billing costs for fence billings. Forwards Standard Order forms for review by Manager in a timely manner to support financial reporting.
  11. Maintain department files and records in accordance with established produces to ensure easy retrieval of records as needed by department staff.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.
  13. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
  14. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service interacting with all personnel.
  1. Community College preferred.
  2. 2 years of experience in a related industry or similar operations.
  3. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Email. Adaptable to in-house software. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  4. 10 key helpful
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  6. Good mathematical skills to complete daily tasks.
  7. Ability to read and comprehend business and technical information and read roadmaps.
  8. Valid Hawaii driver’s license and favorable traffic abstract.
  9. Ability to work independently and ensure completion of job in a timely manner.
  10. Excellent organizational, communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
