JOB INFORMATION
POSITION TITLE: Clerical Assistant
COMPANY: Grace Pacific

REPORTS TO: Equipment/Fleet Manager

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
  1. Enters equipment recovery, equipment maintenance data entry, and performs record keeping tasks.
  2. Maintains miscellaneous files including equipment and parts records, purchase orders, and invoices.
  3. Performs miscellaneous clerical functions for department: answers telephones, processes mail, makes flight arrangements and other tasks as requested.
  4. Serves as the Shop runner and handles miscellaneous errands.
  5. Purchasing and payroll data entry backup functions.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.
  7. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
  8. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. High School graduate, some college preferred.
  2. 6 months office experience, preferably in accounting.
  3. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Email; aptitude to learn in-house systems; keyboarding skills sufficient to complete daily tasks in a timely manner.
  4. Strong mathematical skills required.
  5. Good reading skills required.
  6. Valid Hawaii driver’s license and favorable traffic abstract.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  8. Ability to multi-task.
  9. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
