PRINCIPAL DUTIES
  1. Operates the terminal load rack to load customer tanks in a safe manner.
  2. Completes accurate delivery receipts and daily summary reports for submission to the Terminal Manager.
  3. Conducts daily, weekly, and quarterly inspections and files timely, accurate reports to comply with safety, health, environmental, and equipment requirements as established by various regulatory agencies.
  4. Uses basic mechanical skills to maintain and repair terminal systems and equipment.
  5. Assumes responsibility for Company cellphone to respond to terminal emergencies and resolve critical problems that may arise at anytime.
  6. Attends all mandatory training and possess and maintain Measure master license, Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC) card, and Marine Security (MARSEC) training certification.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. 3 years relevant experience preferred which involved mechanical and or electrical instrumentation diagnostics and monitoring and maintaining complex equipment.
  2. Some experience with petroleum-based fuel terminals preferred, understanding of complex oil heating and dispensing systems, and keen awareness of safety and operating procedures of complex piping systems preferred.
  3. Basic computer skills desirable.
  4. Mathematical skills relative to calibrations and terminal operations. Also skills sufficient to obtain/maintain Measure master license and to gauge tanks according to specifications.
  5. Ability to read and comprehend technical schematics relevant to terminal operations.
  6. Excellent interpersonal/organizational/documentation skills.
  7. Valid Hawaii driver’s license and favorable traffic.
  8. Possession or ability to obtain Measure master license and TWIC, MARSEC, FirstAid/CPR, and forklift certifications.
  9. Able to work flexible hours, variable shifts and/or multiple shifts, as needed.
  10. Ability to climb steps to work at height exceeding 60 feet.
